Before
you start exploring this site, I would like to inform you
about what to expect here and who actually Photo Pit, that
is me, is. |

Of
course, I am just an ordinary man (if there is such a person
because each of us is unusual in his way), with one part of
the body more- camera. Yes! Camera is a part of my
personality, my mind set and even physically, a part of my
body. That is right, you have read it correctly, camera is a
sort of my body organ. When I look at people and things,
when I think, I really do it as if I were watching through
camera objective. |

Discussions
about whether photography was an art or not are long
forgotten. Anyway, I am not a theorist and I do not want to
explain you my new theory (or an old one for that matter) on
photography. For me, taking photos is a way of life, and you
can judge yourself how valuable that is, or the time will
tell, anyway. |

One
critic with good intentions once wrote that there is a
slight bit of honest naive in my works, in positive sense.
Maybe I could agree with him. I am simply fascinated by some
detail in nature, a face of a passer-by, a detail on a
building or anything lese and then I have no need to use
special effects, additional lights, filters or other things.
Certain details can be so beautiful, fascinating or
expressive that they need nothing else. They just by
themselves stir strong lyrical feelings in people and it is
my task to copy that lyric poetry onto photography. I have
traveled around Europe a lot and I was always amazed at
people’s faces, beautiful buildings and landscapes.
However, this site will only show the photos taken in Srem,
my hometown area (north of Serbia), Novi Sad, Belgrade,
Montenegro and Bosnia. |

I
had numerous exhibitions in Sremska Mitrovica, Novi Sad and
Belgrade. My photos can also be seen on sites made by Dragan
Milinkovic and Nikola
Kitanovic (D&N). |
